The preferred format for accepting tracks for mastering is 24bit WAV or AIFF at 44.1KHz to 96KHz, packaged in a single ZIP or RAR archive.
Please be sure to include the artist and/or label name as a part of the file name.
Please ensure that files sent for mastering have no limiters/maximisers/clipping applied, and allow a minimum of 3dB of headroom for our engineers. This will greatly assist in providing a high-quality final product.
When sending tracks for mastering, the following guidelines should be adhered to:
Packaging: All tracks to be mastered should be provided in a single ZIP or RAR archive.
Naming: The ZIP or RAR file should have the name of the artist and project in the filename.
Container: All tracks in the archive should be in one of the following container formats: WAV or AIFF.
Bit Depth: All tracks in the archive should be in one of the following bit depths: 24bit or higher (strongly recommended for best results) or 16bit.
Sample Rate: All tracks in the archive should be in one of the following sample rates: 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 88.2KHz, 96KHz. Note that sample rates higher than 96KHz are not supported.
Note that unless explicitly stated in order notes, the final mastered tracks will be delivered to the client as a ZIP archive containing 16bit 44.1KHz WAV files.
Optionally subject to additional fees, a production ready CD Master can be supplied.
